HUDSON BALLET THEATRE'S COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY, EQUITY, JUSTICE AND INCLUSION

Historically, the professional dance community has had a lack of representation and opportunities for BIPOC dancers and other underserved groups. Hudson Ballet Theatre is committed to actively ending this practice within our organization and standing up against acts of injustice and discrimination in our community. We believe that all are welcome to express themselves through the art of ballet and dance regardless of race, gender expression, sexual orientation or identity, marital status, socio-economic status, age, nationality, cultural or religious background, ability/disability, military status, or education. Moreover, we have a unique platform to reflect the voices and experiences of a diverse group of people through our works and within our organization. We are committed to providing access to dance to all, as well as being a resource of support and a vessel for change, particularly within the dance community.
